Welcome, Fernando Garcia!

Eastern Christian is pleased to welcome Fernando Garcia as high school art teacher!

Garcia, a current EC parent, is a 5x Emmy Award-winning television director and producer with 20+ years of experience in broadcasting productions, event activations and advertising design. He received his associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in Visual Communications at F.I.T. State University in New York City. Garcia brings substantial experience in the development of live newscast production, talk shows, musical stage performances, special TV programs and TV/web commercials. 

Tell us about yourself

Born and raised in Queens, NY, I moved to Bergen County 20 years ago. I have been married for 20 years, and I have two children who have attended Eastern Christian for six years. Professionally, I enjoy helping brands grow with intentional creative content as a brand strategist and creative director advisor.  I’m also passionate about photography, website design and development. In addition, I have always been committed to serving the community and advancing God’s calling and am a member of Bethany Church in Washington Township.

Tell us the story of how God brought you to EC

For the past six years, I have always appreciated the faculty at EC for their outstanding work, particularly the passion EC has for the arts. Being a member of the EC faculty and being able to share and teach my experience in a Christ-centered setting is an absolute privilege for me.

What sets EC apart?

For the scholastic and spiritual development of our children, EC has been a real ‘Godsend’ to my family. This is what makes EC unique. The committed and caring faculty. EC continues to change the lives of students, parents and community.
